In 2023, we started Homely with the intention of making homeownership accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial background.
With an average of 25+ years in senior roles at banks, mortgage brokers and credit agencies, we have seen first-hand how it is getting increasingly difficult for people to buy their own home and that increasingly are excluded with significant barriers to achieving their dreams.
At Homely, we felt a new approach was required to stack the odds back in favour of aspiring homebuyers. We sat down with blank piece of paper and set out the Homely journey – everything we could think of, using all our experience and the latest technology, to help people out of renting and onto the housing ladder.
We also recognise that everyone is different and that it was important to work individually with each user, building their own bespoke plan to set realistic milestones to achieving their dreams but not telling them how to live, simply making more with what they have already, supporting and guiding the way.
